Titration

A titration is a chemical reaction usually used to find the concentration of a solution.

You are going to titrate an alkaline solution with an acidic one. The pH is a chemical parameter, which varies from 0 to 14. A solution, which has a pH equal to 7, is called neutral. An acidic solution has a pH below 7 and an alkaline one has a pH above 7. During the reaction, the pH will change.

You are going to make a neutralisation: the alkaline solution is going to neutralise the acidic one. The neutralisation point is the point where the pH is equal to 7.
