Street Lighting Journey From Peterborough to Spalding 14th November 2006

Using a basic ML logger and its internal light sensor perched on the dashboard of my car. Driving home one night I logged the light intensity of the street lighting, starting in the middle of nowhere! Notice how the village lighting is not uniform and as we enter Spalding it gets a lot more uniform. I noticed that my own village is not as well illuminated as it may be. Passing through the industrial estate there is a much better level of illumination. The lights form other cars made little difference as the position of the ML logger was such that it really only took overhead lighting into account.
