Sodium Thiosulphate and hydrochloric acid

You are going to investigate the reaction between hydrochloric acid and sodium Thiosulphate whose rate depends on temperature. You can repeat this experiment at several temperatures: 20oC, 30oC, 40oC, 50oC and 60oC.

To measure whether the reaction takes place, you can use a Light sensor or a Colorimeter. This Logbook can measure the absorption and so, the turbidity of the solution. On the left column, you will see the instructions to carry out the experiment with the Light sensor and on the right one, with the Colorimeter.
