Logbook UL / WL

ScienceScope are now pushing educational datalogging into the 21st century by introducing our first wireless datalogger, enabled with Bluetooth® wireless technology.

Here are the major points of the UL / WL operation.

  1. Meter Mode - Displays sensor values in the appropriate scientific units for all four channels.

  2. Auto recognition of all Logbook sensors, Philip Harris hand sensors, Sensor Meters, Cube sensors and First Sense sensors.

  3. Recording Mode - Display sensor values and recording status. Allows the selection of Auto and Snapshot recording types.

  4. Wireless Connectivity - When connected through wireless the logger will display the ID of the PC/Laptop that it is connected to.

  5. File Status - Displays file utilisation.

  6. Logger Status - Displays time, date, battery status and charging status.

  7. When connected to a PC the Logbook WL's fast logging up to 61µs on a single channel recording up to 2145 points.

  8. Fast recording also allows triggering on up to two channels and with a data-buffer built in.  This buffer allows pre-trigger data to be logged of fast events, such as the motion of a falling ball.

  9. The built-in timing functions in Logbook WL allow the user to carry out a range of investigations using lightgates.

The Logbook WL and the Logbook UL represent the state of the art in datalogging whist retaining simplicity of use which is essential in the classroom, These dataloggers provide all the functions necessary to carry out exciting datalogging investigations in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, Geography and Sports Science.
