Logbook GLE

ScienceScope now present to the educational datalogging market our Enhanced Graphics datalogger, which can be supplied with a GPS module, or with  Bluetooth® wireless technology.

The Enhanced features are :

  1. Continuous fast logging at 50 KHz whilst connected to a computer. This fast logging capability allows for unlimited data collection, whilst connected to a PC, even at the fastest speeds.

  2. 12bit resolution

  3. Field upgradeable logger software

  4. Extended memory option allowing remote recordings of up to 44,000 data points.

With a GPS Unit fitted

Integrated GPS option allowing recording of location and sensor data together.

With a Wireless Unit fitted

Bluetooth Wireless connectivity both to a PC and to a wireless GPS unit

Here are the major points of the GLE operation.

  1. Graphical Display of data, both current data and saved recordings.

  2. Meter Mode - Auto size display of sensor values, in the appropriate units.

  3. Large font meter for 1 or 2 sensors, each built-in sensor can be turned off/on.

  4. Auto recognition of all Logbook sensors, Philip Harris hand sensors, Sensor Meters, Cube sensors and First Sense sensors.

  5. Recording Mode - Display sensor values and recording status. Allows the selection of Auto and Snapshot recording types.

  6. Wireless Connectivity - When connected wirelessly the logger will display the ID of the PC/Laptop that it is connected to.

  7. File Status - Displays file utilisation.

  8. Logger Status - Displays time, date, battery status and charging status.

  9. When connected to a PC the Logbook GL's fast logging up to 61µs on a single channel recording up to 2145 points.

  10. Fast recording also allows triggering on up to two channels and with a data-buffer built in.  This buffer allows pre-trigger data to be logged of fast events, such as the motion of a falling ball.

  11. The built-in timing functions in Logbook GL allow the user to carry out a range of investigations using lightgates.

The Logbook GLE represents the state of the art in datalogging whist retaining simplicity of use which is essential in the classroom, These dataloggers provide all the functions necessary to carry out exciting datalogging investigations in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, Geography and Sports Science.
