Distance Ultrasonic Sensor

This sensor is ideal for carrying out investigations of motion and displacement. It uses ultrasonic technology and ideally the target should be smooth.

The sensor automatically adjusts the ultrasonic pulse rate dependant on the distance of the target from the sensor.

In common with all other sensors of this type we recommend only using one unit in a room at one time as the high intensity ultrasonic signal from one unit can intefere with another sensor close by.

  2. ranges

    1. 0.3 to 1.3m res 1mm

    2. 0.3 to 2.8 m res 2mm

    3. 0.3 to 10  res 10mm

  3. maximum recording interval with Datadisc is 20 milliseconds

There is a basic model and an advanced one, which has a display of the distance maeasured, in millimeters
