Conductance/Conductivity Sensor

This sensor is ideal for measuring across the whole range of conductances encountered in the school laboratory. Its logarithmic response means that it is no need to have differing ranges even though the sensor can measure over a range of more than 5 orders of magnitude. It should be noted that at very low conductances the sensor is very sensitive to mains interference. Keep all power supplies and mains powered equipment away from the sensor when the conductance is low. The sensor can be used to measure conductivity with Datadisc Pt.

  1. Logger compatibility :ScienceScope Type 2 (Click for details)

  2. range 1 - 100,000 µS

  3. resolution nominally ±1% of reading.

  4. maximum recording frequency with Datadisc is 1 second
