Since 1982, our team has been developing hardware and software for science
education.
Our first product, Datastore for use on BBC computers helped launch the concept
of datalogging into schools. Since that time Datadisc software has been
developed into a professional data analysis and datalogging tool, covering all
areas of science education from early years to higher education.
Our products have sold throughout the world at all levels of education. We launched
the Logbook range of dataloggers and sensors in 2001, which compliment both Datadisc
software and the Philip Harris datalogger range and sensor systems. ScienceScope
is the science education-trading name of Abington Partners, David and Hilary Crellin.
We and our team are now based at Writhlington School near Radstock, as part of
the UK's first STEM Enterprise Centre, where we are helping to promote Science,
Technology, Engineering and Maths within a school. This
co-location enables ScienceScope to trial new products in an educational
setting, whilst giving students access to product and enterprise
development.
